Are you down with the King? They don't call it the King for nothin'; these are the biggest, cheapest burritos in town. Finishing a King Burrito in one sitting warrants a medal. Open 'til 3 a.m. seven days a week, Burrito King capitalizes on what we all know best: burritos taste better after a night at the bars.

I love this place. It used to be the best place to go when you're drunk. Now it's the best place to go whenever you're hungry. This is all for one reason: (memorize the following..) MEXICAN STYLE CORN SOFT TACOS WITH PORK PASTOR. Write it down on a post-it, stick it on yr dashboard and refer to it when you pull up to order. Yes the service is hit or miss. It has gotten much cleaner though, and although it's only friendly when the owner, Jesse, is working, it is worth it all for the aforementioned tacos and a pineapple Jarritos. Make sure they include a few wedges of lime. Is it bad for your cholesterol? Yes. But your soul will be healthier than ever.

I've been going to Burrito King for years and have never had a problem until they got that dirty new guy a few months ago. He shows up late and he has NEVER gotten my order right. Not once! (And I order the same thing every time and have for years). The food has gotten AWFUL; it's seriously going downhill.

But that's not the gross part. I went there this morning to get my usual order of veggie nachos with extra sour cream and an hour later I was hugging the toilet, vomiting. I called my dad, who is a chemist for the FDA, and he said that it didn't sound like it was the food itself that was making me sick, rahter, that the person handeling my food didn't wash his hands. And I've seen the person handeling my food. He looks like they found him drunk on the street. He's absolutely disgusting! And to think that I have his nasty unwashed hands touching my food makes me sick(er).

Don't get me wrong, I use to ::love:: Burrito King, but I am fed up with their new service and "quality". I will NOT be going back for a very, very long time.

Burrito King fills the wonderful void being about the only place you can enjoy both sober and otherwise. Good food at a good price (although I am still perplexed why the vegetarian burrito is a buck more then the meaty ones). And the red sauce is the hottness...literally and figuratively.

I didn't know what a good burrito was (and believe me, I've had my more-than-fair share of big-as-your-head burritos!) until I tried the King's potato & egg breakfast burrito. this creamylicious hunk of comfort food will satiate you for hours. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200 until you pass the window at The Burrito King. Long live the King!

The burritos rock, so does the nachos...The tamales taste like playdough....But other than that, no complainst....Could be a little more consistent with the green sauce recipe.
