"Rendition." "Redacted." "The Kingdom." "Lions for Lambs." They're all movies about the war on terror that nobody has wanted to see, perhaps because the topic is too daunting or too depressing. Add Ridley Scott's "Body of Lies" to that list, even though it's probably the most worthwhile and least preachy of the bunch.

When the first Gears of War came out, I remember hearing many gamers say it was good for tiding the masses over until Halo 3 hit. Now, it can certainly be said that the Gears of War franchise is just as much of a heavy-hitter as Microsoft's other big exclusive.
