Bill Cosby
When: Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, 8 p.m.
Where: Allen Fieldhouse, 1700 Naismith, Lawrence
Cost: $15 - $25
Age limit: All ages
Categories: Comedy
Description: OK, admit it - you watched Ghost Dad. Twice. And you hung on every second of it, desparately rooting for Bill Cosby to shake the paranormal hoochie-coochies and return to life. Now, for a mere 25 buckaroos - 15 on the college-attending tip - you can see for yourself that Cosby is in fact real. The legendary comedian has been in the spotlight recently since making comments at a Brown vs. Board celebration that were perceived by some to be racist. Whether his KU homecoming routine will address that topic remains to be seen, but with his reputation for bluntness, don't bet against it.
Tickets available at the SUA box office on the 4th floor of the Kansas Union Monday thru Friday from 9-4:30. Tickets are also available at Allen Fieldhouse Monday to Friday from 9-5, by phone at 785-864-3141 or at www.kuathletics.collegesports.com.
